It is now easier than ever to follow all the latest news and photographs of the British Royal Family on the internet. They have accounts on all the major social media sites including Flickr, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook and update them regularly. They even produce regular podcasts which you can download and listen to! Each of the sites is used for a different purpose so if you are a real Royal Family fan, you can get a wide range of information by checking them all out.
The Royal Family on Flickr
The British Royal Family Flickr account is the place online for official Royal photographs and some unusual views of Royal residences. Find the latest and best photographs of the Royal Family taken as they go about their business, sometimes on engagements which are not well publicised elsewhere in the media. Visit britishmonarchy on Flickr and you will find a list of folders under which the photographs are conveniently grouped. Of course, the royal engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton gets its own folder, but there are also photographs going as far back into history as possible. The folder of Royal charity engagements and the Royal Christmas gallery cover some nice informal moments.
The Royal Family on Twitter
The British Royal Family Twitter account is updated regularly, sometimes several times per day. There is advance warning (usually 24 hours) of Royal engagements, giving you opportunity to catch the Royal family on walkabouts. Just sign up to follow the British Monarchy on Twitter at britishmonarchy.
The Royal Family on YouTube
The Royal Family YouTube Channel, TheRoyalChannel, dedicated to the British Royal Family, carries many videos from Royal engagements. Many of the videos are shot close up and are high quality in sound too, so you can hear the actual conversations between the Royal and those with whom they come into contact in their daily working lives. You can also see which videos have been most popular, and you can interact by voting to like or dislike a video.
The Royal Family on Facebook
The Facebook page of the British Royal Family, TheBritishMonarchy provides members who sign up with regular news updates about Royal engagements along with a link to the official Royal Family website to discover more details. For each story that is covered you can leave feedback and also view the feedback left by other people, so you can share your views and maybe even memories of the day, if you were at a particular engagement. Here too you can see some nice close up photos which offer a uniquely intimate view of the Royals at work.
The Royal Family Podcasts
Royal Collection podcasts, RoyalFamilyPodcasts, can be viewed by anyone without any kind of sign up process. The podcasts feature a range of Royal household staff updating viewers on major news concerning the Royal Family and their official residences, such as a new tour of the Palace of Holyroodhouse or documentaries on such topics as the love story of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. These podcasts tend to be updated every quarter and all old podcasts remain on the website for you to view any time.
All of the above allow easy access to and current information on the British Royal Family.

This poem written by Baron Ivan Darrel Albert,Ajmer City,Rajasthan,India,on 2nd July 2009 –
Titled:- “God’s Will”
1-Long live! the King of England,
Silent prayers from my heart flow,
I love thee very much although,
From a very different land.
2-Thy glowing face, one morn, I saw,
Thy story read, I gave it a thought,
Great religious wars were fought,
I knelt in reverence to greet thy law.
3-Thy stories all read with pleasure,
And I took them as my treasure,
Past all triumph, all hopes, fast retire,
I feel my heart is filled with fire.
4-I wish to seek thy humble feel,
Thy subjects all need a delicious meal,
The table laid, Jesus calls, His people know,
Needs prayerful hearts and heads to bow,
5-Far from light divine, it is all shame,
Exalted, Fearful, Holy, Mighty, is His name.
Thou hast yet another role to play,
Jesus expects thee to show His way.
6-To thy people, read the Holy Text,
All genres to absorb, should come next,
In thee works always a Godly will,
Shalt thou now lead My sheep uphill?
Dear Ivan, Thank you very much.
Congradulations and well wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!!
I pray that God will bless you and your families and be with you in trial. May God continue to bless while you set the example of Christ with your out-stretching ministry of chairity work and your well respected example you have set for me. Long live our future King and Queen!
In my prayers,
Allimay,13
